Galactic Crisis

The galaxy doesn't always stay quiet. A Galactic Crisis is a server-wide emergency that demands collective effort - every player in the galaxy working toward the same goal, against a deadline. Crises are announced in advance, become active for a fixed window, and resolve as either a success or failure depending on whether enough players contributed in time.

Crisis Types

Three crisis types rotate in sequence, each demanding a different kind of response:

TypeLabelContribution MetricDuration
Rogue AI FleetRogue AI FleetFleet power deployed72 hours
Supernova WaveSupernova WaveResources contributed72 hours
Dimensional RiftDimensional RiftResearch points invested72 hours

Each crisis scales its required target with the number of active players at announcement time.

Phases

A crisis moves through four phases:

PhaseMeaning
AnnouncedCrisis is known - 24-hour advance notice before contributions open
ActivePlayers can contribute; shared progress increments in real time as players act
ResolvedThe collective target was met before the deadline - the galaxy succeeded
FailedTime ran out without reaching the target

Contributing

Every contribution counts toward the shared progress total. Players who contribute any amount before the crisis resolves are eligible for the success reward.

Rewards

If the crisis resolves successfully, all contributors receive a resource payout:

Rogue AI Fleet200,000150,00050,000
Supernova Wave500,000300,000100,000
Dimensional Rift300,000200,00080,000

Contributing to a crisis also awards 40 Season XP.

Failure Debuff

If the crisis expires without meeting the target, all players suffer a production debuff lasting 48 hours - resource production rates reduced across the board. The consequence is collective: everyone loses, regardless of whether they contributed.

Shared Progress

The active crisis progress bar updates in real time as players contribute, visible to all connected players simultaneously. Coordinate with your alliance to maximize contribution during the active window.
