Rapid-Fire Mechanics
Certain ship classes fire multiple shots against specific target types in a single combat round. The rapid-fire multiplier is determined by the first target at the start of each ship's volley. If the target is destroyed mid-volley, remaining shots are redirected to the next unit in the firing queue.

Fighter
InterceptorFast and agile interceptor designed to hunt bombers and probes. Low armor makes it vulnerable to cruiser-class railguns, but overwhelming numbers can swarm heavier targets.

Bomber
