Galactic Directives

Galactic Directives are galaxy-wide shared objectives that every player contributes toward simultaneously. Unlike Alliance Objectives - which are per-alliance - Directives pool contributions from all active players in the game. When the galaxy meets a directive together, everyone who pitched in shares the reward.

How Directives Work

Each directive has a specific goal, a target quantity to reach, a resource reward, and a time window. The directive is active while in progress, completed when the target is met, and expired if the window closes without completion.

Progress is tracked in real time. Any action that naturally advances the goal counts automatically - there is no manual opt-in.

Goal Types

Directives measure one of five activity types:

Directive Templates

Fifteen directive templates rotate through the season. Each week, a template is selected - with randomized target values within a range - and becomes the active directive:

Rewards

When a directive completes, all contributors share a resource reward. Reward amounts scale with directive difficulty:

For example, "Armada Assembly" (1,000–2,000 ships) awards 150,000 Metal, 100,000 Crystal, and 50,000 Deuterium.

Timing

Each directive has a start and end window, displayed in the UI with a countdown and live progress bar. If the target is met before the window closes, the directive resolves immediately and rewards go out. If the window closes without success, the directive expires with no payout.
